Finding a new home in Hertford
After 10 happy years in Ware, HILS is preparing to move our East Herts teams to a new home in Hertford from October. The new site is spacious and will enable us to not only continue delivering thousands of delicious meals to local residents every year, but will also allow us to expand some of our other services.
We would like to reassure all our clients, their families and friends, and referrers that we are doing everything we can to minimise disruptions to our services. All existing clients who are supported by East Herts teams will be receiving a letter with more information about the move. We will continue to keep clients informed of anything that may affect their service provision. We will also be sharing updates on social media (Twitter and Facebook) and via our Quarterly Newsletter.

A new HILS wellbeing hub in Hatfield
You may have already seen on our website that we will be working with Hatfield and District Age Concern to open a new wellbeing hub in Hatfield called Friendship House.
We can’t wait to invite the community back into the centre to enjoy a wide range of health, wellbeing, and leisure activities. The centre is currently being refurbished and we are making sure that everything is in tip-top shape before re-opening.
We will be updating our website and social media platforms with further information, so keep an eye out. You can also sign up for our newsletter for regular updates about our services and stories from our clients.
We will also have a variety of rooms available for hire, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are interested in hiring a room.
