About the service
Hertswise is a service designed for people living with dementia, low level memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment, and their carers.
It’s provided by a partnership of community and voluntary groups to ensure we can offer the kind of support that you need. Hertswise aims to ensure that people of all ages, living anywhere in Hertfordshire, are able to easily access information and advice, activities and support. We have the right service to enable you to make positive changes to your health and wellbeing to both prevent the onset of dementia and to live well with memory loss and dementia whether or not you have (or want) a diagnosis.Call HertsHelp to book: 0300 123 4044
Groups & One-to-One Support
Hertswise have Dementia Hubs for people living with dementia, or low level memory loss, as well as their carers or loved ones. The Hubs offer a range of engaging activities, information and advice, and a supportive community. Click the link below for more information.
Support for Carers
We have a number of face-to-face groups and countywide Zoom sessions designed for the carers of people living with dementia and memory loss. Where and when?
Hertswise Dementia Hubs are available in various locations across Hertfordshire. Most Hubs are run every week on a set day for two hours.

Everyone is welcome to attend a Hertswise Dementia Hub. However, the service is tailored for people living with dementia, low level memory loss, or cognitive impairment, as well as their carers and loved ones.
Price and Payment
We ask for a £5 contribution per Hub session and carers may attend these sessions at no charge. One-to-one sessions are provided free of charge.
If you are attending a Hub, you can pay by cash on the day.
