Earlier this year, we were fortunate to be awarded funding from Social Business Trust’s Digital Impact Fund to build a new website. Having grown significantly as an organisation over the past year, HILS needed a new website which would reflect the extent of the services we now offer, not only in Hertfordshire, but also in West Sussex, Hampshire, and Bedfordshire. We also wanted to make it easier for clients to find the support they needed, wherever they live.
Brief in hand, in April 2023 we started working with Cambridge-based web design agency, Granite5, to build a new website. This build happened in tandem with our rebrand in Hertfordshire to become ‘Health & Independent Living Support’ – a name which would better reflect the support we offer across multiple areas. Rebranding and designing a new website at the same time is no easy task, but with the support of Granite5 we were delighted to launch our new website on 12th October 2023.
The new site hosts a brand-new postcode-based service finder to help people find the support they need in their area as well as online payments to make it easier for our meals clients and next-of-kin to manage their services online. We also introduced a new digital referral pathway to simplify the way clients can sign up to our services.
But we’re not done yet! We are looking forward to continuing to build on the foundations we have created with our new website, and make it even easier for clients to access our support, and manage their services online. Watch this space…
