This October, HILS got into the Halloween spirit all throughout the company!
At HILS, we love an excuse to get dressed up and join in the celebrations, and Halloween is no exception. This year we embraced the spooky season with enthusiasm and creativity, making it a memorable time for everyone involved.
Whether it was Julie and her wonderful Active Ageing group session at Blakeney House, where participants engaged in a selection of strength and balance exercises to the sounds of spooky music, all while dressed up in a range of terrifying outfits, the atmosphere was filled with fun and laughter. The costumes ranged from classic witches and werewolves to more unique creations, adding an extra layer of excitement to the session.

Or at our Community Hubs at Friendship House (Hatfield) and Cuffley, where the Halloween festivities were in full swing. There were party games that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit, lively dancing that got everyone moving, and Halloween-themed food that was both delicious and delightfully eerie. Performances by staff and community members added to the entertainment, with attendees dressed as ghostly witches, zombies, aliens, and other Halloween-themed characters, creating a truly immersive experience.

A fantastic time was had by all! The joy and camaraderie were clear to see, making this Halloween one to remember.
