HILS Shortlisted for Healthcare Caterer of the Year at the 2026 Foodservice Cateys
We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for Healthcare Caterer of the Year at the 2026 Foodservice Cateys.
The Foodservice Cateys are among the UK’s most respected awards in the catering and hospitality sector, celebrating exceptional organisations and individuals who are making a positive impact through foodservice.
Being named on the shortlist is recognition of the dedication, innovation and commitment shown by our teams across the organisation.
Every day, we deliver nutritious meals and wellbeing support to people across Hertfordshire, Hampshire and West Sussex. Through meals and health and wellbeing services, we help people remain independent, recover after illness, reduce loneliness and maintain good health in their own homes.
In 2025/26, we carried out more than 2 million interventions through our services, demonstrating the significant role community-based support can play in helping people live independently and reducing pressure on health and care services.
The Healthcare Caterer of the Year category recognises organisations delivering outstanding food and nutrition services within healthcare settings. Our shortlisting reflects the hard work and dedication of colleagues across the organisation, from catering teams and drivers to wider staff, volunteers and support teams.
The winners will be announced at the Foodservice Cateys awards ceremony in London on 9 October 2026.
