HILS Celebrated as Finalist in Health & Nutrition Category at Public Sector Catering Awards 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Health & Nutrition Award category at the 2026 Public Sector Catering Awards. This recognition celebrates the vital work our team does to provide nutritious meals, wellbeing support, and community services across Hertfordshire, Hampshire, and West Sussex.
At HILS, we believe that healthy, balanced meals are just one part of supporting independence. Our dedicated teams go above and beyond to ensure older adults, vulnerable people, and those with long-term health conditions can access services that make a real difference in their daily lives. From meals on wheels deliveries to Community Hubs offering social connection and health guidance, Advocates offering advice and that much needed support to help your voice be heard, and not to forget our Active Ageing and Nutrition Services ensuring that people age with dignity and in a healthy way, our approach prioritises health, wellbeing, and dignity.
Being shortlisted for this award is a testament to the commitment of our staff and volunteers who make these essential services possible every day. It’s also an opportunity to highlight the impact of our work and the importance of community-focused nutrition initiatives in the public sector.
