Our dedicated Nutrition and Wellbeing team were rewarded for reaching the highest of standards and achieving excellence at the Hertfordshire Care Awards.
Hertfordshire Independent Living Service (HILS) won the Care Innovation Award for Elderly Care Teams, for our Nutrition and Wellbeing Service.
The team, Michelle, Annabelle, and Emmy, made up of Dietitians and Nutritionists, picked up the prize in front of a packed 360-strong audience at the ceremony hosted by the Hertfordshire Care Providers Association at Knebworth Barns.
HILS recently launched its Nutrition & Wellbeing Service to improve the health, nutrition and wellbeing of clients, and provide training and support to families, carers, and the wider health and social care sector. The main aim of the service is to prevent and address malnutrition in the community. The service targets older vulnerable people living in the community, as well as adults with disabilities.
Our team put their energy, enthusiasm, and passion into developing this service to combat malnutrition to change people’s lives for the better.
