What did you use to do?
I was retired before joining HILS, and before this I managed housing maintenance repairs for a housing association.
When did you start working for HILS?
I started working for HILS as a Community Team member in February 2023.
What does your job entail?
There are various parts to my job such as checking the meals are at the right temperature before our clients receive them and making sure the clients are receiving the meal that they have ordered. I am also a point of contact for my clients, someone they can talk to whilst I deliver them their meal.
Why do you enjoy working for HILS?
I like working on my own and getting to know my clients as I am sometimes the only person that they will see. As well as my regular clients, I also enjoy meeting new clients too and getting to know them.
What is your favourite thing about HILS?
Along with making a difference to our clients lives, I enjoy working with all the other Community Team Members. They are good bunch to work with and we all help each other out when needed.
