What did you do before?
I have worked in a variety of different roles, including banks and a pharmaceutical company including as an Executive Assistant. I initially came into the role working for the then WRVS before HILS was formed.
When did you start working at HILS?
Since the start, over 10 years ago!
What does your job entail?
I have a few roles within HILS. I support in the packing and cooking of the meals, before I deliver meals to clients. I also work as telecare installer in the afternoons and also work at the dementia clubs.
Why do you enjoy working for HILS?
I love helping people and it doesn’t quite feel like I am at work!
What’s your favourite thing about working for HILS?
Aside from the food, I enjoy working with the clients who are ever so grateful for the work we do.
