Donate in memory of a loved one

Celebrate a life, support someone else’s

Donating in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to honour their life. As a not-for-profit, every donation to HILS is used to deliver social good to our community. Your support can help us to continue to provide essential services like meals on wheels and dementia support.

Whether your loved one received our support, or you wish to help others in their name, your gift will make a lasting impact in the community.

Ways to donate in memory

Make a one-off or monthly tribute donation
You can make a secure online donation in memory, either as a one-time gift or a monthly donation that continues your loved one’s legacy.

Funeral donations and collections
Many families now ask for donations to charity instead of flowers at funerals or memorial services. We can provide donation envelopes, collection tins, or help you set up a dedicated online giving page.

Fundraise in memory
If your loved one enjoyed helping others, why not organise a fundraising event in their memory? Sponsored walks, bake sales, quiz nights – however you’d like to celebrate their life, we’re here to support you with ideas, materials, and a friendly ear.

Create an online tribute page
An online tribute page lets you share memories, photos, and stories, and invite others to donate in memory of someone special. It’s a beautiful way to bring people together to remember and do something good in their name.

Why your memorial donation matters

Your in-memory donation will help HILS continue to deliver our essential services to thousands of people across Hertfordshire, Hampshire, and West Sussex. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us reach more people and honour your loved one by helping others live with dignity and independence.

We’re here if you’d like to talk

We understand that this is a deeply personal decision. If you’d like to speak to someone about giving in memory, or if you need any help with setting up a funeral collection or tribute page, we’re here. You can contact us today.

Let’s celebrate your loved one’s life by supporting others to live theirs, fully and with care.
