Food and groceries delivered free of charge to support you in a time of difficulty
About this service
If you urgently need food and other household supplies and cannot afford to buy them, we can deliver a grocery pack to you.
Our food and grocery packs, developed by our Nutrition and Wellbeing Team, contain three days’ worth of food.
To receive support, please contact HertsHelp who will determine whether you are eligible. There is other help available including travel vouchers, clothing, and furniture.

Service Information
Where is this service available?
Emergency food and grocery bags are delivered to your home usually between 11.30am – 2pm. We can deliver to any house in Hertfordshire.
Eligibility
To use this service you must be:
- Living in Hertfordshire (housed or homeless)
- Receiving some benefits (such as Income Support or Jobseekers Allowance) OR have no income and urgently need help
You cannot use this service more than once in a six month period.
If you are eligible, HertsHelp will contact us and we will deliver the food to you.
